Heimann Biometrics GmbH (SHB) is located in Jena, Germany, where
it develops and manufactures biometric systems for the security
industry. For the development of a new product family, they needed
a solid system platform. Advantech and its DTOS partner, MarekMicro,
had the solution. MarekMicro was the first company in Europe to
join Advantech’s DTOS partner program in March 2002, and
has since developed customer specific solutions based on Advantech’s
ETX System-On-Modules.
