Advantech
has added Phoenix Platinum temperature extreme testing and certification
for selected embedded computing SBCs. At this stage, the PCA-6751Z2-F1B2
and PCM-3350Z2-G0A1 will be the first boards that offer the
Platinum Phoenix testing. Below is a table that summarizes how
Platinum Phoenix Testing fits into Advantech’s current
Phoenix Operation support.

Z2
is the new naming that applies to Platinum Phoenix certified products.
The Z2 addition to any part number means that the Platinum Level
Phoenix certified product has been fully tested to guarantee an
extended operating temperature range of -40 ~ +85°C.
The
latest addition to the list of customization service from PPC
is the removable HDD. PPC usually come with a standard fixed HDD.
But now, customers can request for a removable HDD. A removable
HDD can be easily maintained and retrieved; simply unscrew and
slide it out of the PPC.
Considered an OEM project, the delivery of this
