 The
new MBPC-140 PC with chassis is now available from Advantech.
It is a rugged and complete PC solution that offers easy integration
for end users as well as flexibility and versatility for ODM customers.
The MBPC-140 is fully compatible with all PC software for ease
of use and implementation. This tough, all-in-one 486 PC based
controller and chassis is ready to be used in a variety of applications
that need compact, full function computing power.
Computing Power Where You Need It
The MBPC-140 is truly an all-in-one PC based controller and chassis.
It comes equipped with 32 MB DRAM, a DB-15 SVGA interface with
up to 4 MB display memory for CRT monitor support, a 10/100Base-T
Ethernet interface, a DB-9 RS-232 serial port and Phoenix connector
for DC 5 V power input. In addition, the MBPC-140 is equipped
with a CompactFlashTM solid-state disk socket, which can also function
as an emulated hard disk. The MBPC-140 can be either wall mounted
or Din-rail mounted for increased installation flexibility.
 This
compact unit offers all these functions in an incredibly small
hand-sized chassis. Measuring a mere 142 x 36 x 94 mm, all of
the MBPC-140's components, such as the CPU and DRAM, are already
on board. Advantech can also provide a Win CE® solution for
this product (just like other Advantech products). Plus, since
everything is enclosed in a rock solid die-cast aluminum chassis,
components are very secure and extremely well protected. The MBPC-140
is ready to operate in the harshest, most demanding environments.
