 The
MBPC-300 MicroBox PC chassis has added the PCM-9574 to its line
of 5.25" Biscuit PCs it supports. Available at the end of
June, the PCM-9574 SBC will add impressive video and audio capability
to the MBPC-300 Series line. The PCM-9574 is a socket 370 biscuit
SBC that supports Pentium® III processors of 750 MHz and higher
plus Celeron™ processors up to 533 MHz and higher. The PCM-9574
offers a Trident™ Cyber 9525 DVD contoller for on-chip 2x
AGP 3D VGA/LCD as well as on-chip hardware assisted MPEG II accelerator.
It also features an ESS 1989 Audio controller and supports AC97
3D stereo surround sound. The PCM-9574 has a large array of features
that add increased flexibility to system integrators using the
MBPC-300 chassis.
More Flexibilty and Capability
The MBPC-300 equipped with the PCM-9574 will also offer the following
input/output jacks: Microphone in, Line in, CD audio in, line
out, speaker L and speaker R. With the PCM-9574's outstanding
on-chip video and audio capabilities, when combined with a Pentium
III processor, the power of one of the most powerful and smallest
socket 370 solutions is added to the MBPC-300 Series.
