SOM-2365 features low-power, high performance mobility
by offering the Transmeta Crusoe TM5400 processor in this
System-On-Module solution. Based on an advanced VLIW core architecture,
the Crusoe TM5400 can provide x86 compatibility by utilizing x86
Code Morphing software. The Crusoe processor is one of the most
energy efficient high performance x86 compatible mobile solutions
on the market today. The TM5400's LongRun Technology is
a feature that allows the processor to adjust both its frequency
and voltage to the levels required by the application. Advantech
offers this integrated solution on a board 85 mm x 100 mm in size,
so it is perfect for small, embedded internet appliance devices
and ultra-light, power conscious mobile applications.

The SOM 144
products have compressed many features usually found on larger
control boards into a 2.5" size (68 mm x 100 mm). These plug-in
CPU modules are designed to help customers bring their CPU-based
embedded products to market fast. Advantech offers our 30 Days
Design To Order Service (DTOS) that guarantees 3 product
samples within 30 days of project acceptance. This is a way Advantech
