CeBit '98 Was a Great Success

This year CeBit show in Hannover, Germany (March 19-25) was a resounding success for Advantech. Advantech booth was specially designed and centered around the Panel PC, a single unit, touchscreen computing device which Advantech believes will revolutionize lifestyle computing. On March 23, the Embedded PC division of Advantech held a special conference to introduce some of its new products, such as the PCM-4823/25. Individuals from over 37 countries attended-a dramatic increase over last year 15 participants. During this EPC conference, 13 of the participants agreed to take part in a sales contest and new product promotion program. With this contest, participating distributors pledged to meet a specific quota of sales in a certain time period. If they succeed, Advantech will offer them a special award program.

PCD-1230A 8 MB Capacity Now Available

Advantech's PCD-1230A IDE Flash Disk Module has been enhanced so that it now has an 8 MB capacity. This extra capacity opens up a range of additional application possibilities. Contact your nearest Advantech sales representative for more information.

PCM-5862L Replaces PCM-5860

Advantech's PCM-5860 Biscuit PC has been phased, but for about the same low price, Advantech more advanced Pentium-level Biscuit PC, the PCM-5862L, is an ideal substitute. Besides supporting all of the capabilities of the PCM-5860, the PCM-5862L also supports Pentium^®MMX. The PCM-5862, on the other hand, has on-board audio as well, and its price is only a little higher.
