New POS Case is a Dream Come True

Advantech's new POS case, the POS-810, is a standard LPX chassis with dimensions of 360 x 90 x 420 mm. It can easily accommodate Advantech's POS board series, namely, the POS-460, the POS-560 and the brand new POS-562 (see cover story).

Styled for the Future

The front panel of the POS-810 has a much more modern look to it. It also has room for both a 3" and a 5" drive bay, which enables CD-ROM expansion. This exceptional expandability and quality of the POS-810 will surely ensure the future of this product.

Expansion Friendly

There are several reasons why the POS-810 is expansion friendly. First, a PCI/ISA riser card is provided with the case. This riser card comes with two expansion slots, which can be used as either two PCI-type slots or as 1 PCI-type and 1 ISA-type slots.

Easy to Certify

The POS-810 comes with a 100-watt power supply which is FCC and CE approved. Also, the case itself has advanced EMI shielding features built in (such as metal plating over unused drive bays).
