Biscuit PC Chassis Integrates Smart New Switching Power Supply
 Advantech
would like to intoduce the PS-55A 55 Watt switching power supply
specially designed to work with the MBPC-300 5.25" PC chassis
(on left). The PS-55A power supply is easily installed and covers
the complete line of full size biscuit PCs that are supported
by the MBPC-300 chassis. AC input of 88 ~ 264 V can be used with
DC output of +5 V @ 8 A and +12 V @ 1.5 A provided. The Voltage
and current capabilities of this power supply are perfect for
Pentium® and Celeron™ based SBCs like the PCM-5864 and
PCM-9570. It also accomodates the special voltage and current
requirements needed to run today's newest LCD panel displays.
Full product coverage, custom fit design and flexibility, make
this power supply a valuable addition to the MBPC-300 chassis
line.
Custom Designed Fit
 The
PS-55A was cleverly integrated into the MBPC-300's already efficient
chassis design. Keeping the case small and compact was a chief
design concern for the Advantech engineering design team. As you
can see, this was successfully accomplished, however, the capabilities
of this power supply were not sacraficed. With the possible SBC
boards that can be used, this power supply has made the MBPC-300
Series chassis an even more complete case for system integrators
needing a wallmount PC controller, embedded PC controller, unattended
controller or compact industrial PC designed to handle the most
demanding environments.
