MBPC-200 Microbox PC Chassis Now Offers Dual Ethernet PCM-5823 SBC

Advantech is now offering the new PCM-5823 Dual ethernet SBC as an option for the MBPC-200 Microbox PC chassis. Advantech's PCM-5823 NS Geode™ series is a 3.5" SBC that offers an onboard NS Geode™ GX1-300 processor or GXLV-200 processor, plus support for dual ethernet.

The dual ethernet capability allows the MBPC-200 to support many functions and applications single ethernet SBCs can't. For example, Firewall, Router or Gateway network functions can now be accomplished using the MBPC-200 with the PCM-5823 inside. Also, because of the MBPC-200's small compact size and rugged construction, this network capability can be applied almost anywhere!

The MBPC-200 has the PS-50A 50 Watt switching power supply with AC input of 100 ~ 250 Volts and DC outputs of +5 V and +12 V. The PS-50A is specially designed to operate with the MBPC-200 in the most challenging environemnts. And coming soon, Advantech will make the MBPC-200 even more portable by providing an optional plug-in (similar to notebook computers) power adapter that enables the MBPC-200 to be simply plugged in to any normal AC socket, adding to its versatility.
