Product Updates Benefit Customers

The MBPC-200 Series/PS-50A/PS-25D has replaced the MBPC-201 MicroBox 3.5" Biscuit PC Chassis. The PS-25D 25W DC-DC power supply previously used exclusively by the MBPC-201 is now being offered as a power supply option in the MBPC-200 Series, giving it AC-DC or DC-DC capability. The MBPC-200 Series also provides new board options (PCM-5820/L) that add powerful new features to this chassis line. This chassis series continues to offer preinstalled bundled Windows^® CE and drivers on selected boards to provide a "total solution" option to users who prefer it.

Advantech's PCM-5862E/L Increases SBC Power

The PCM-5862E/L Rev A Pentium^® MMX SBC has replaced previous PCM-5862 products (please refer to Table). Improvements with the Ethernet interface and power supply have increased the speed and efficiency of this already powerful Single Board Computer. The PCM-5862E/L now offers a 10/100Base-T Ethernet interface (previously 10Base-T) that can handle the most demanding network requirements. A new switching power supply has replaced the previously used Linear power supply to give noticable improvements in power consumption with decreased heat dissipation. These particular upgrades have been accomplished with hardly an increase in the product prices. Once again, passing-on savings to our customers is a way Advantech adds value to our product lines, it also helps to increase our competitiveness.
